He doesn’t need no explanation he also had a past history too, why would carcel fight with ines over something that happened in the past, yet alone another life time
You should be able to tell by now that nothing ever plays out the way readers expect. Cárcel will get his answer but in a way that most readers don’t expect. Despite not having memories like some of the other characters, he’s an incredibly intuitive man. :) Besides that, even though Ines chose him when he was 6 years old to use him and dump him, he’s the kind of man who will still love her despite knowing this hurtful truth.
I'm not talking about their past lives I'm talking about him saying "why did she choose me? She chose him because he was the best option to get her out of the marriage with the crown prince. I feel like that might hurt his feelings because he also knows how she was trying to get him to cheat and how she's been planning her escape. But the other commenter made a good point carcel is really intuitive and optimistic he will probably still take it as a compliment
The only reason I said they'd fight over the past bf is because she asked for a green diamond made by the guy. And carcel has been doing everything in his power to get one for her. What reason could she want it for than to remember her past lover lol I'm sure when she sees it she's gonna be like omg I don't want that anymore.

That’s why on her side, she hasn’t thought about it again. She even determined that no one can stand in the way of her goal of living peacefully and alone until the day she dies. So, Ines herself has already moved past that pendant. It’s Carcel who was seeking the owner so he can buy it for Ines. He doesn’t know that Ines has the genuine pendant she inherited from her grandmother. The pendant Carcel is trying to buy is a fake.
