I never once did get any pedo vibes from this. They are both high-school kids and it's your typical manga drawing style you see all the time. There's not a single adult grooming anyone in this manga.
I think people should stop projecting their weird fantasies into manga fiction like this. I find it very creepy that people are making a point about them being underage children.
