Sasya also said in the letter that he was leaving the house which is why he wasn't there when karel came home on break from duty. karel just thinks sasya abandoned him because the letter was intercepted

karel's going to get the letter in the next few chapters and realize that sasya didn't abandon him, he just was not going to stay put in the house and rot awat while karel was in the service

this just proves sasya’s wishful thinking of karel coming to see sasya on the stage wasn’t just wishful thinking stemming from the fact that he is taking advantage of karel’s love. i can’t believe saysa thought karel got all of his letters and had the audacity to act like sasya has done everything wrong. in reality there were misunderstandings from omissions, which is clearly not sasya’s fault.

this author makes a good job of making readers hate and doubt sasya and his love toward karel. seriously for 60 chapters people were conflicted about whether sasya actually loved karel. at the very least we knew karel did everything for sasya out of love so as to not make him such a big villain. his side of the story was explained throughout this manhwa but sasya? bro got the shorter end of the stick. it’s like we’re karel who doesn’t believe sasya actually loved him and did things out of love

thank you for the extra information! I just read someone's synopsis of the novel and haven't seen the raws; I really hope that the author makes it really clear that there was a misunderstanding that changes everything because I can't take people hating sasya anymore

but also I was pretty understanding of sasya before the letter reveal because mental health is complex and sasya was fading away without a purpose
