I see what you mean, but since the manhwa is based on the novel, it’s not a completely separate piece. It’s fine to interpret things differently, but if it strays too far, it stops feeling like an adaptation and more like it’s riding on the novel’s success without respecting it. That’s why comparisons are valid.
People need to realize that novel and manhwa adaptation could never be compared to one another and the original novel is the real story..the manhwa is just the interpretation from another author. I love both tbh.
