After they did the deed. MC woke up and he was at home in his bedroom. Like nothing ever happened at all. he received a call from Yoon Yang (the OG partner of Kwon in novel that MC used to read) and he said that he was confined but not anymore and talked about the whole thing and how he realised his feeling for Kwon. Yoon Yang asked well would you come to work or not? This is your first day.
After he went to office everybody believed he got the job because he knew Mr. Kwon and is a Nepo baby. He went to his desk and when kwon rushed in calling his name he answered professionally while smiling just like how he did in kwon's memories and chapter 39 ended.

So, after they did it, he woke up in his bed as if in the "past" before everything happened with Mr. Kwon. And the other secretary called to ask him if he was going to be late and he was confused and told him that he dreamt he was kidnaped. He went to work and just started thinking about it and thought it was a prophetic dream.
And from what I understood when he thought he was in a novel it was part of the dream, so it's possible this is another world and he just had some memories from his past life.
What probably happened is that in his previous life he saw his future in another world through what he mentally described as a novel, and when he reached the "time" of which he saw the future in his previous life, he remembered it while dreaming and confused the two. So he probably died in his previous world and just reincarnated in this world and is now going through what he dreamed about.
It's funny tho because before all this happened, in the dream, the reason he couldn't eat the food in the cafeteria was because it was too greasy or something, so in the dream inconsciously he already knew that he didn't like food that wasn't Mr Kwon's food. And now after he had the dream, and knows Mr. Kwon's food, it just has become a different reason to not like the cafeteria food, nothing he does is actually changing. Because in the dream he had already talked about the profetic dream with the other secretary, but instead of talking about it on the phone he talked about it in person, and he had already not liked the food at the cafeteria, but now has a different reason to yet again not like it. It's just that the reasons for the things to happen have slightly changed. This is very well written, the author is amazing for thinking all of this so deeply that everything matches and makes sense!
Yeah, I don't think Mr Kwon remebers anything because it was actually a dream, but he probably knows him because Mr. Kwon was the one that moved him to the team as he was already obssessed with him, we still don't know why he has this obssession, but he will probably talk about it at some point.
Guys give the summary of the last three chapters I'm too embarrassed to read them I tried but couldn't read past the chapter 37 and I couldn't completely read it (⌒▽⌒) I'll try to read them after touching some grass
