Forming a contract is a rarer form of BDSM. But the basis of BDSM is communication. Before starting in anything, you want to be clear of what you yourself are comfortable with. From there it's communicating what you and your partner would be interested in, what you guys are hesitant on, and what you guys don't want to do. Then navigating the safety of trying out your interests. These works are fiction, even the manhua with the most "healthy" BDSM dynamics are still rather toxic if brought out into reality.
