Curious, why don't you like it? I feel like it isn't normal to expect an adult to not have history with other people. That's a pretty unrealistic expectation and plays into a lot of slut shaming / virginal worship mentalities that are pretty unhealthy.

The reason I hate when they have sex friends is when they get in between the couple and keeps appearing in the story making trouble ╮(￣▽￣)╭ not knowing boundaries just because they slept with them.
