thanks for mentioning it. I only got my BDSM knowledge from some yaoi and fifty shade of grey. and of course just like most of yaoi its quite misleading sometimes, like how men can get wet and like they didnt need to use lubrication or prepare the butt at least before penetration. When I watch gay porn I never see the uke actually getting hard and come from being penetrated alone they still need a blowjob and handjob, its a wonder in yaoi world the Uke could even come from the nipple play.
While I love seeing bdsm in yaoi, I hate how lightly they portray it, cause seriously, it isn't just "Imma tie you, gag you, and blindfold you up like it is nothing". Yes, I know "it is fiction", but still, portraying them not actually talking about this kind of play in detail before hand, ignoring your partners opinions and not stablishing a safe word is really misleading and fucked up.
If you ever feel like doing any non-vanilla play, and actually even if you do vanilla play, please do talk it with your partner before hand and please establish rules and a safe word, so you can actually have a more enjoyable play time ;)
