I think you are more into bl with fantasy or history or some other deep plots.
as for this one, sure it's not that great considering the typical plot and all. But it is also great at the same time because of how much realistic it's plot is. Also the plot consists of different sides of bl relationship which most people can relate easily. not to mention the art style is sooo much cute. maybe that's why people think that it is a great manhua.

I read it because you all praised it so much, but now I know not to trust you all again. For me Heaven Official's Blessing counts as a masterpiece, Little Mushroom is also great even if you only take into consideration the world building. This is alright, but doesn’t even compete with good stories. I don’t understand why you all seem to think this story is amazing.
