It feels shallow cause the vibes are so inconsistent and they betray each other so much yet the one’s betrayed are still desperate to cling to them??? LIKE ITS SO WEIRD
The style feels like it’s gonna be somewhat cute wholesome, I mean it still isn’t dark evil, but it’s not exactly straightforward and wholesome either ??
Like it’s the standard popular clingy sunshine character sticking to the outcast loner but then it doesn’t make sense for him to betray the loner just cause the other popular assholes started ignoring him??? he was too much of a genuinely cool guy to be so strategic about relationships to call his best friend a loser behind his back???

And then in adult times he’s like the same except airhead enough for him to take that damn long to realize he doesn’t just want random sex with literally anyone but a proper relationship AND FOR HIM TO TAKE SO MANY TIMES OF SAYING “OH SORRY WE HAD SEX I WONT TOUCH YOU AGAIN” “OH YOURE CLEARLY TELLING ME YOURE PISSED AT MY BETRAYAL IN SCHOOL AND YOURE PISSED I REDUCED OUR RELATIONSHIP TO A DRUNK SEX ENCOUNTER, SHOULD I ASK YOU OUT PROPERLY? NO, LET ME SUGGEST BEING SEX FRIENDS” ?????? Are u stoopid, And then once again he’s wishy washy about yejun enough to go back and have sex with Geon again ??????????

And then he’s dumb enough to be used by Geon and framed for the spying but then smart enough to make a plan to get Geon caught admitting on tape?? But then dumb enough not to hold a grudge and go back to being his friend????

And yejun is just… a doormat for him????
And sarang is a doormat for Geon?????

Like it’s so hard to care and root for them when they don’t have any solid values they stand for, it’s like their actions are a dice
