Like some of the comments say, as much as the ex is kinda annoying and iffy that he is pursuing her like this, eventually o transfer to another school, he is a necessity. Right now, she doesn't accept anyone's help, anything from her 'old life' is smth she cut off so she is basically doing an isekai of herself to start fresh anew in this new world of starting from scratch. She bottles everything up and ignores anything to do with her old life. Even with the 2 boys there, they're barely making any impact on her life except maybe as friends but still not close enough to call as one. Just comfortable aquintances that hangs out.
The ex can be her anchor and smack about not flying too close to the sun and be reminded that there are people from her past that may care about her, even if the ex is doing it in an annoying way. Like girl live a new life and everything but you still need therapy for that trauma. U gotta talk about it at some point or you're gonna drown in your current lifestyle. (Ofc everyone deals trauma differently, but there's no point running away)
