Yeah i also had a thought like this!! But the way this story progresses, i understand why it would be a happy ending. Also personally, i can’t bear to imagine how the Chord team would feel about Yiseon’s death i wouldn’t recover if i saw them cry over his death and honestly if Hyeon didn’t save Yiseon when he jumped off, we wouldn’t know that he realized his love for Hyeon bc his grief then would look like he just lost control over Yiseon, bc he didn’t even consider sacrificing himself by jumping off to save him knowing he’s powerless at the moment. Then, he’d just become a….very asshole character from start to end lol. That’d be much more realistic tho, true, but this story wouldn’t be tagged as BL (like killing stalking) i think
look i feel like imma get a lot of hate for this, and maybe i'm prepared?
I feel like if Yiseon had actually k!lled himself it would be very very meaningful, a very depressing ending, but truly meaningful
I'm not saying I didn't want a happy ending, and I knew what to expect, knowing this wouldn't be any psychological drama crazy ass manhwa, but still, I feel like it would have a lot more impact on me if he really went with his idea from the start, he always wanted it, and gave it up because "noo the guy who manipulated me all along actually does have feelings for me as well!!"
I really wanted Yiseon to be happy ofc, I love the character, I'm saying in matters of writing you know? The story itself.
