In English it's not too weird to have a name that sounds like a letter. I know people named Jae, Kay, Elle, Em, Es, and Tee.
It's very very similar to the way we say the letter Y (ipsilon). So it's funny to se a character whose name sounds like a letter. kakakakakakka
As a Greek person the name Epsilon sounds so goofy to me because in Greek it's literally a letter of the alphabet
