the way i was so excited to read the new season only to find out the very first chapter already ruined it for me…… they were so cute at the beginning of the chapter as well ughhhh WHYYYY - i will never get over the normalization of rape on bl stories, it’s literally everywhere it’s so disgusting.
The chapter started so sweet and soft and then it went to shit. I don’t understand why they love and romanticize rape in Asian BL so much. It’s so disgusting. It’s so normalized too, like as long as the guy has a “reason” for it and later “redeems” himself it’s totally OK. Like no dude.
Ugh, yup. You weren't lying. I bet its about to be one of those stories where the MC FORGIVES the guy for doing it too.

most of the time there isn't even any proper "redemption". They just throw rape in the plot, and the next minute they act like it didnt even happen. It never gets properly addressed and that pisses me off even more!

At the end of S1 I was like oh no the top learned the truth… surely he won’t revenge-rape the MC because of that.
And that is exactly what happened… mf drugged and raped him first ep of S2. Sigh. EVERY. TIME.
Why?? Why is rape always a plot point??
