j to be more clear - no, woojin's character is not okay & there are maaany signs of abuse by him. haegyung's friend herself stated woojin is similar to seunghyun, although their reasonings are different (& neither are good). it's j, there are A LOT of toxic stories where there's no redemption whatsoever except for "i can't believe you're leaving me now because i abused you & cheated on you... suddenly i miss you so much </3". i think compared to those, woojin isn't AS BAD because, putting aside the isolation & control of haegyung's daily plans, i think many of his actions were to protect haegyung - j done extremely wrongly
j to provide More Clarity (sorry, a v anxious time in my life is happening rn, lol), i understand i may have contradicted myself by saying many signs of abuse & then saying to put aside the isolation/control of haegyung's life - but because i believe woojin's "abuse" towards haegyung are primarily those. his other batshit crazy actions were towards others, granted in front of haegyung which could be classified as "abuse" as well - but again, that's where the intentions to protect haegyung comes about - j done so v wrongly. though, after his conversation with his father, it seems like his development in this area could be great, if the author gets well soon & wishes to continue writing jinx & explore the characters. regardless, again, this story was meant to be toxic anyhow. so... j another one i suppose
i understand everyone's frustrations & dislike with woojin's character portrayal. i personally believe he's wack & bonkers, there are a lot of psychological aspects to be uncovered, however this story was meant to be toxic anyhow & i personally feel as though it's not really allat bad compared to many other toxic love stories. additionally, the author is literally sick & had to delay many of the later chapters due to their health. i'm p sure the reason the story is lacking & the ending was v rushed was because of this. at least, thank you to the author for providing a closed &
happy ending. i appreciate all your hard work
