The same as with little prince , he also feels that he is the only family he had ever had. So he accepted the fact that one of them had to go sooner or later and based from MC’s blurred memories , i think Kosol didn’t took it well when the little prince was the one to die that’s why he became a tyrant in history. Mc’s interference with their relationship made it easy for Kosol to prioritize little brother’s future rather than himself. I don’t believe he couldn’t dodge that shot, its like he stood there waiting for his own judgement, he had the chance when little prince was holding it upwards :(((.
