Honestly tho sometimes the plot doesn’t need it plus explicit scenes like that. They could have just implied it happened :(
exactly!! they did portray it as vulgar and painful and done without love, but it just felt unnecessary to the story. after the scene passed they barely talked about it! tbh i wish they didn’t show it at all
every time i reread this mf book i GASPED AT CHAPTER 40 UGHHHH. “i hope you can forgive me for what i’m about to do” WHY DID THEY HAVE TO ADD RAPE THEY WERE SO CUTEEEEEE. at the very least they don’t portray it as like romanticized rape, it’s quite horrible and painful and they don’t sugar coat it.
