Did you not read Mana-chan literally say "Your friend is in love. Simple as that"... I can understand if you don't like the ship but there's no way you are actually asking "how tf r people shipping this" because there is very obvious ship material.
I don't deny romantic feelings from Satomi but I don't think the rs should be canon cuz of the fact they met when he was a middle schooler!! The fact that everyone is fine with that even knowing the massive age gap and the history is what's getting to me ik this ship is mostly pro ship but dAMN everyone is crazy
