Honestly, yeah. Sovieshu is a pos but that made him have more dimension to his character, he has a lot of goals (granted, selfish ones) but he made much more expressions and showed more personality compared to Heinry “The good ML” who hasn’t really done anything but scheme to snatch Navier away and be cute and shy around her, while he does have his own moments of frustrations regarding his own kingdom, it feels shallow and harder to resonate with him because the cause of his troubles isn’t as upsetting as what Sovieshu had to face because of his flaws and terrible decisions, it made his character feel “human”
I’m going to assume the reason why it’s like that bc the point of the story is that so the MC, Navier, could get a break from the antagonists so they gave her a male lead that’s obedient and isn’t a hot mess like her ex so that she doesn’t have to deal with any more trouble, but that came with the price of Heinry’s character being a bit less interesting.
Honestly, I have a different theory - maybe his reasons and story behind his character is bound to happen. We still don't know a lot of things about him and author keep on giving us hints that there's something deeper behind all of it.
If this is abt Heinry, then yes, I agree. I would give anything just to get a pov from heinry because he is def far from being innocent and the manhwa is not touching upon it enough and I would love to see more of the dirt heinry had done.
