feel slow at all. honestly i expected a lot of pushback from Rud atleast, he had the most reason to not believe in love in the first place, but he already fell first and Hard. Dragging it out with misunderstandings is overkill at this point. And lets not deny it, The only reason why Rud is getting any chances now is cuz Blondie may be a bad guy (sussy). Now all that left is to wait for the FL to be where Rud is at emotionally, shes not on the same wavelength yet...which is gonna take some time cuz of the obligatory isekai trope tht will take place...yanno the trope where MC always have to throw self awareness out the window and care about the momment when the "original" MC shows up for the "real" plot to "happen". Damn tht cliche has always annoyed the shit out of me. Like BRO you are now the MC, the butterfly has taken effect the second you open your eyes and look at the mirror to see you've become someone else. Cliche as old as time and it gets staller by the second. Shes gonna be like "no we cant be together cause your soulmate is the real FL" , "this didnt happen in the book", "this event came earlier compared to the book" bla bla yada yada
Yeh but like I feel as if there are WAY better ways to execute a slow burn story. Plus she fell in love with River so fast.
I agree sm with this cause what..??? Also the way they dragged the story for a slow burn wasn’t even good..like I don’t mind that it’s a slow burn but the fact that it didn’t even made sense.. it’s like they just filled in the blanks with whatever just to make this a slow burn…
also I HATED THE FACT THAT THEY ADDED A SECOND MALE LEAD MID WAY?? Like brooo after all that shit you showed us during their childhood..? After the moments dahlia and rudrick went through your gonna make dahlia fall for some smiling blondie named river..? NO
I hate this new theme in these mangas to draaaaaag it out with the plot and just sprinkle in blobs of romance. The art is gorgeous but the story is so damn boring and uninteresting. I don’t give a damn about blondie. Why all the misunderstandings? I need my Male Lead actually obsessed, not someone who constantly takes a backseat. Dropped.
