The setting is actually a lot more different in the novel.

In the novel they put Edith in a jail cell because they're still suspicious of her. She also has a lot rugged outfits and is extremely cold. Rize comes down with the alibi of "giving Edith hot water to keep her warm" but also stashes a dagger and then cuts her own arm and tries to frame Edith. But Killeon realizes the dagger is too warm to belong to Edith since she is practically freezing and never received the hot water.
makes sense in the novel. idk why the manhwa changed it up sm but i guess killeon is just gonna stop rize before she does it
