Reason is just my observation, but it is obvious from how he behaves
You all MC wasn’t lying I've seen the raws. His brother doesn’t necessarily want him dead, but wants him as a possession. He really started killing everybody around MC since he was a child. First he killed his dog in front of him, then pushed him down the stairs, after that I guess it was android, his friends and partners. The father didn’t care to stop it and his mother tried to defend MC but couldn’t.
