I am with male lead cuz think about it if u were in his shoes would u be kind? Imagine getting betrayed and stuck on foreign land than getting to know u r the villain of ur real world and when u finally fell in love in a foreign land the authorities tried to blackmail u with her safety so obviously he'd be cold to protect her so everyone will think he doesn't care much about her and harming her is not a way to control him
