im not entirely sure, but in one of the notes they mention that what they say can be both interpreted as like or love, but that they chose for love instead. so its possible that its just translation stuff :)
I feel the same. I'd understand if it's like attraction at first but that confession caught me off guard, it's like we skipped some scenes
Honestly ; given the circumstances in which they met (how intense, sexualized) everything was from the get go, I personally did believe it was “Love “ love. More than a crush, more than attraction. As readers we might not be used to seeing characters confess right the second they themselves realize they have, in fact, fallen in love
Did anyone else think their love confessions kinda came out of nowhere? Everything seemed slow burn but them suddenly they’re openly admitting to loving each other and honestly we just haven’t been shown enough scenes where they gave chemistry to warrant that.
Idk, maybe this is something that is addressed in the next part or there’s some twist where McQueen only said he loved him so that he’d keep making porn.
