From my very limited knowledge, ghost marriages happen traditionally in rural chinese towns, sometimes between lovers who died before marriage or unmarried people as a sign of respect. This particular scenario on the other hand, does not. It's between The Promised Neverland and ghost marriages which, even if you don't think about it, IS PRETTY FUCKED UP
