I meant isn’t. And even if that typo wasn’t there the rest of my statement doesn’t even hint to me wanting sympathy for the seme. My point is the uke being extremely pathetic, that this is beyond point of just his character facing obstacles. There are plenty of omegaverses or non omegaverses where the parent has been back into a corner due to the other parent being rich and power but they haven’t been this pathetic. Yeah that’s you putting victims in a box you are victim blaming and shaming when he’s literally going through all the classic trauma and signs of abuse he was forced into isolation the seme literally forced him to quit his job and leave his friends behind taking away his support system and financial freedom as well as abusing his money and status to threaten the ukes friend then uses the uke financial and moral situation to force him to be with him using their literal son as a pawn and his sickness as leverage what parents wouldn’t sacrifice everything and anything so their children would get proper treatment he didn’t have the means to have the medical assistance his son desperately needed so he gave in but then is manipulated emotional/ sexually/ financially to be in a relationship he has to live with the man who is abusing him and make it seem like it’s a happy family for his son like you are inserting other books and expecting a victim to act a certain way to please your own notions is crazy work this is reality for many people people who are abusive know who to abuse and how far they can go they aren’t just oppressing him but his son and are the only ones who can treat his son the have the means in every way Power class status money connections that is a big hurdle when you are going through the mental strife that comes along with abuse you become anxious paranoid you don’t know who to trust you don’t know who’s on their side you’re already isolated and your brain is going to a literal rewiring and chemical change where you switch into survival mode and you are trying to protect your child it’s disgusting to victim blame because they aren’t acting how you want them to victim hood isn’t black and white and they’re so many variables and you are out here sounding exactly like the “why did they stay crowd” shaming and blaming a victim for trying to survive the best they can it takes time to leave and fight back especially when you have a child with the abuser it’s crazy that you don’t see any strength in him as a parent because if he had to sacrifice himself mind-body and soul to get his kid the medical help he needed it then he’s gonna do it And if you see that as pathetic, I think you need to reflect

You are reading a whole different point and maybe you are feeling some type of way because of personal issues, that ain’t got sh*t to do with me nor my point. I gave book examples because yes you can actually write your character badly trying to make them too weak, the same way you can write any character badly in other aspects.
