Not exactly the same since it's romance and slightly supernatural, but give Red River (Anatolia Story) a try. It's an older Manga but just as good or even better than this one.

not really nation building but basically the same setting. a chef got teleported back in time and became Nobunaga's personal chef and he uses his cooking for political reasons. highly recommend. it's even better than this one lowkey
