See I agree it's emotional incest but not for the reasons u listen (not that it really matters) but just to clarify. Uke never knew he was his uncle until he was grown, 2 seme was a step-brother to his father. Once it was revealed he was his uncle I was great this is what I get for reading a bl from tiktok recommendation ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Look, honestly I don't like their relationship either. When Naru met Mei he was still a child, and Naru could be an older brother or an uncle to him, and such big gaps in age bother me, so I find it weird too, but incest has nothing to do with this, and that's a fact.
You have every right to find such relationships weird, but that's all. Incest has only one meaning, that is: "marriage or sexual intercourse with a relative within the prohibited degree of consanguinity. In other words, a sexual contact between close blood relatives".
It's something that has to do with genetics/biology, not morality. There is no such thing as emotional incest in the sense that you mean. Emotional incest exists but has a totally different meaning than you think. Either two people are closely blood related or they aren't. It's that simple.

I was actually replying to the other person, I was sure it was always them who mentioned this "emotional incest", sorry. It wasn't my intention to sound rude or argue, I just wanted to clarify that it cannot be incest in any way if the two people are not closely related by blood because that's a fact. Then of course everyone is free to have their opinion and feel however they want about this couple!
Somebody let me know if this is worth reading? Because I read the sequels and I have always had an ICK for Naru.
He always came off narcissistic and egotistical, and while he did support the first couple, it always came off as him toying with them instead of being genuine. I've put off reading this series about him for so long because I cannot make up my mind if I should care about him or not....
