this is how i felt too! i don’t mind a basic/cliche story either but comments they made it seem like a must read or mind blowing when the progression was very subpar. i really liked the concept though but the execution… not good

am i missing something? everyone in the comments praised it, so i decided to read but im let down
im still on chapter 27, but their chemistry felt really forced because of how fast they progressed and opened up to each other. mc was undercover/secretive and ml was supposed to be suspicious of everyone under the pharmacy. however in early chapters, they ran into each other extremely quick and bonded quicker than ml and the illegitimate son. then neither of them were on guard which threw me off. it would’ve made sense if the abo caused it, however from the beginning there was nothing to build up on in terms of why they felt drawn to each other + were friendly from the start. imo it would’ve made sense if they interacted way later, since the worst thing for the pharmacy was for mc to draw attention from the people who could expose them? i felt like we needed more filler, and time for them to see each other as people worthy of trust- not direct romance from the start
