It’s certainly not BAD but… I agree with the other commenters who say the character focus in this comic is all over the place. The lead pretty underdeveloped compared to the love interest, who has these deeply intricate IMMEDIATE goals that are overlapping with one another and meanwhile our guy is over here like… feeling a little bit like he’s randomly inserted himself into someone else’s business. Probably not helped by the fact that the love interest, on the surface, seems waaaay less invested in the relationship and a lot more like he’s just going along with everything.
Because of that, the chemistry just isn’t there. They don’t really have anything in common or have a dynamic, and its not like they went the opposite route and had the main character hopelessly throw himself at a disinterested guy which at least would have been more interesting, it just feels a bit soggy.
Like I said, it’s not bad, individually all the pieces are good, the arts gorgeous etc. but it’s less than the sum of its parts.
I get it! The story’s not that deep yet. Maybe the author will explain later, but who knows when since it’s already season 3. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
So fucking real seme comes off to me like some side character that has a lot of screen time we gen need to see him develop more as a character along side uke
