And every readers who read the plot(the dialouges in the boxes) and not just searching for things to attack readers with knows they're not just beating them up.the MC even explained abt that thing at the start of the webtoon and he himself use it as just a temporary solution.

That whole chapter was about MISANDRY, and a teacher teaching misandry to children. Misandry is NOT feminism. Misandry goes AGAINST feminism and gives feminism bad name. If I remember correctly, that chapter ended on main characters introducing values actually closer to feminism, which were about equality. This webtoon also called out misogynistic views and values multiple times, not to mention it is one of very rare action webtoons that has strong, not overly-sexualized, independent and interesting female characters, who not only are intelligent but also exist on their own without their male characters. I know how feminism is treated in Korea, how huge of an issue misogyny is there, but sorry, this is not an example of it. I’m a hard on feminist, so I’m sensitive to this kind of crap. Don’t confuse misandry with feminism and don’t confuse calling out misandry with misogyny. That kind of behavior is harmful to actual feminism.

You have every right to call out the racism that was portrayed in it. It was a disgusting chapter, very uncalled for. But it is up to you to decide whether you wanna accept apology and move past it or not. The people who read it now, do. If you don’t like the comic then drop it, this kind of graphic revenge webtoons aren’t for everyone. That’s fair.

Sweetie, I’m very interested in Korea so I’m very well aware of everything you’ve brought up. I also support 4B movement wholeheartedly. So, sorry to disappoint, but I’m not just “yapping” about things I have no knowledge of. I’m very critical of Korea and Korean men, and I fully agree that misandry doesn’t realistically affect men at all in real life. However, as it seems you have admitted, that WAS misandry and NOT feminism. It’s like with racism, it can be interpersonal (which anyone can experience) and it can be systematic (which for example white people cannot experience). There are different kinds of discrimination. I recommend looking into that a little before “yapping”. Whether it affects men or not wasnt the topic of discussion here, discussion was whether it was feminism and misogyny or not, and it wasn’t. And even if misandry doesn’t realistically affect men, I don’t support it, especially if you’re trying to sell it as feminism. You can be as misandrist as much as you want, but don’t promote it as a movement that is already struggling enough as it is. Misandry is harmful to actual feminism too, so sorry, I don’t really tolerate it. If you wanna openly hate men, be my guest, I get it, but don’t paint it as being a feminist and destroy movements reputation.
What intent author had or not is up for interpretation, if that’s what you think it’s up to you. I don’t think that, especially with how that chapter went, with how he writes his female characters and how many times he called out misogynistic ideas too. Just because someone disagrees with your perspective doesn’t mean they are wrong or uneducated. Opinion is an opinion, it can be right or wrong, it’s not a fact.

Sure, you can argue about the move of including that topic, but how I said, what were the intentions are up for interpretation. I’ve read this webtoon for a while, and with all issues that were represented so far, I don’t share your opinion on it. As I’ve said, I’m a big feminist too, I don’t talk out of my ass. I know a lot on this topic, and I know a lot about issues in South Korea, especially in regards to women’s rights. But extremism, as I can understand where it’s coming from, is harmful too and counterproductive. As I’ve said, if you wanna be a misandrist be my guest, I get where you’re coming from, just don’t sell it as feminism. That’s what I have an issue with.
