I guess basic English isn’t your forte. Anyways, Garam literally admitted that he was in the wrong. It also ISN’T implied that he kept pushing Jaehyuk away because he’s distrustful of him; Jaehyuk just assumes that because of his past, and also due to the fact that he’s literally at a club with women, Garam might get the wrong idea. In Chapter 70, Garam says that he kept pushing away Jaehyuk because Jaehyuk is always joking around, so it’s hard to see him in a romantic way (“He’s always joking around, so to see him like that…!). Garam also acknowledges that Jaehyuk is pretty serious about their relationship, so maybe critical thinking ALSO isn’t your forte either!
English is not my first second or third language actually. But again lacking not just critical thinking but basic reading comprehension. It’s been alluded multiple times, Garam does not trust Jaehyuk because of how he treated Garam in the past AND his disgusting homophobia. That’s why Jaehyuk freaked out when his friend picked up the phone he literally knew that because of his shitty past, Garam had a hard time trusting him. If the character themselves can admit to it why do you as a reader ignore that? Garam has every right to be wary of a man who has been fucking girls and was extremely homophobic towards him. And Garam is not perfect, he was literally willing to let go of Jaehyuk because he knew their relationship might not work out and guess who was chasing? Jaehyuk. Garam not taking Jaehyuk seriously and saying he’s joking around isn’t an unfounded conclusion. It’s a conclusion he drew from spending time with Jaehyuk and seeing his old way of life. Jaehyuk in my opinion has had a great character development. Garam is a victim and people need to stop expecting him to just get over the trauma Jaehyuk gave him and just be lovey Dovey with him.
