there was at one point a translation until chapter 36, but the website is down and i could only find it on the wayback machine

It is being translated right now. If you go on NovelUpdates and look up If You See Snow you will find the translated version but you might have to google up the translation page.
Knew it was a novel with the pacing. It's hard to read manhuas adapted from danmei novels as a standalone since they like skimming through the background information. Wish they could give some info for first time-readers but anyways the art is really nice.
