mc is usually the uke from who's perspective we see the story cause we get to hear his thoughts and all and ml is usually the seme cause we don't get to see his perspective, he's just a love interest.

No matter what you're reading the mc is always the pov character, for example in the third ending the top is the pov character therefore he's the mc.
