Y'all shouldn't just trust her memories and the novel (people tend to remember stuff from childhood but not everything). The duke never killed her and she was not banned to the guest house either. And he and his wife knows from the beginning she's not his kid so it would be weird if they kill her just because of that, especially since her bio family is also a dukedom lol
