By the way

all these Korean mangas and stuff about uni where they are scared of the professor or try buttering up for grades and everyone knows everyones grades is so weird to me. my uni is also one of the top ones in the world and in our school everything we hand in is anonymous. it goes through multiple examiners who are trained to like get multiple opinions in before finalising a grade based on everyones collective opinion and then someone higher up looks at it and then it becomes an official grade. nobody but you know that that was your work. you are never allowed to put any identifying thing on any work. I seriously like this, because it makes me able to focus on my learning instead of feel like I need to to useless shit that has nothing to do with mastering my subject like competition or whatever. only place where sb has more of a direct view on you are seminars, but that is different, as you learn skills there and communication is part of it and you need direct feedback

That's definitely not the typical. Most college classes in the US and presumably Korea as well are graded directly by the professor with your name on the assignment. And in many classes specific to majors a class might only have 10-20 students, at least at higher level courses.

Girl....US is a country out of 195 in the whole world. Saying "definitely not typical" and " in the US" in this way is really weird. It would have been different if you phrased it as "It's definitely not typical in the US and presumably Korea.". Like you think US is the whole world or sm?(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Anonymous grading has really only been a thing in the last few years due to online learning modules. And is most widely adopted in law schools apparently, though others do use it. Some countries more than others, if you look it up. And I doubt for all classes. It doesn't seem to be used in Korea outside of law schools either. But you were saying it was weird to you, so I was providing context that in many countries and to people who had college less recently the direct grading seen in manwha and manga is very much the norm.
