I have a theory; that his father arranged something with Ido hence the nightmare. He must be so traumatised to the point of erasing the incident in his memory. Otherwise, he was drugged that he can't remember the details which is both fucked up scenarios.
And it also, temporarily prevented the company from going under.
Don't know the details my mself but what i understand is that ido has his memories from past life and sejin doesn't, in the previous life sejin commited suicide while being pregnant bcz ido didn't treat him well and he also got raped by ido's brother...
