I haven't read the first one so imma say about 'You and I can't do this'
IT'S FRIKIN AMAZING. Starts off with the two as rivals, and their rivalry is really funny, they start knowing each other and mind you, both are an absolute green flags, story is really good too. They are a bit similar during work but different mindset about romance but even then, they're both never toxic at all. The ending is also perfect, towards the end, there's a beautiful moment which i won't spoil but that made me cry with joy, they're just so beautifully in love. There is lots of smut tho haha.

The New Employee is a lot more??? business-plot focused compared to You and I Cant Do This. Not that the latter doesn't have any of that either but it wasn't played off as serious as the former, with cause and effect and consequences. It makes sense tho bcus the main plotline of those two are different in what they're trying to achieve.
The New Employee is about a graduate interning at a job his (slowly becoming ex) university crush was in, and finding the footing that he lost in the company with the help of a more experienced boss. So this one got a lot more business talks with internal struggles regarding the characters' personal goals, and overcoming pitfalls while holding out hope and etc. The younger partner worries a lot about... well everything regarding his job, the mistreatments he faced, and his relationships with people whereas the older partner cannot seemed to empathise quite as well due to age differences and their different personalities and reactions to things— ultimately though, it's how both of them grow, side by side and together. [It's honestly not toooo dramatic as I was tryna put it to be but it wasn't as comedic as You and I Can't Do This)
You and I Can't Do This followed a science PhD student getting involved in the world outside of his school and lab, fantasising romantic endeavours, and ultimately butting heads with a coworker who's the complete opposite, brash, blunt and entirely unromantic. The season slowly introduces his past struggles, and how despite their differences, they still inevitably fall for one another. Here their relationship and dynamic was quickly built up to be comedic with a lot of useless (and hilarious) banters and gags, it's very much comedic from the get go. The charm is in the unexpected heartfelt moments where either had conversations deeper than 'who's dick is bigger' (metaphorically LMAO), and it's like seeing two people who just can't seemed to pull away, it's this automatic chemistry between them.
Where these two are similar are in the general themes, both of these got the more naive younger (I actually don't remember if You and I Can't Do This MC was younger) MC entering a competitive work space and ending up on the radar of a more experienced older ML who gets them out of their shell while also learning to loosen up as they both learn to love one another.
I hope my yapping somehow helps, both of these are different manhwa but are also entirely very entertaining and great reads!
which one should I read first? if you could tell me the thoughts you had while reading them and how they compare differently/ similarly to each other or other series, or a mini description of the couple dynamics, I'd appreciate it!
