And the abuse doesn't stop until a daughter from low noble family come and asks the ml to back the weak prince to become the emperor or something so they strike a deal and girl also wants the seat of duchess so he says ok and the fl finds out and goes crazy and he really dgaf he just wants her by his side even as a mistress. Then the king passes away and she gets more scared now bcz her engagement can be annulled and she can thrown out so her and the only maid that was good to her run away. Two years pass by and they are living well fl is finally happy and does not mind living as a commoner. The ml tho goes crazy and tries to find her and it's starts hitting him that he is in love with her so he goes himself to find her.
