Idk it depends on what direction the author takes. The argument does look stupid and trivial but if it’s revealed that ml has incredibly higher trust issues because of his past or whatever then the fight starts making sense. But that would require good storytelling and he’d have to get a good redemption arc.
look like the author is running out idea about the conflict? some recent chapters feel like those actually trivial matter but make it biiiiigggg (just imo)
