Read the message carefully. It seems the OP is frustrated because they were expecting two updates, but in the end, only one was released while the other was just a placeholder. People in the comment section are simply explaining why it was set up that way. It is not a question at all.

The og comment was commenting on how annoying place holders were because they did not have the knowledge that bot translations were a bad issue on this site. I just feel there's no reason to try to hate on a person due to their ignorance.
I dont think it has a lot to do with 'ignorance'. Its pretty much known throughout the website and most placeholders actually explain why they do it.
The reason why people react this way is because a lot of uploaders get sh!t thrown into their faces by uploading placeholders, while they are only doing it to prevent crap uploads. Which also results in uploaders stopping uploading.

People deserve to feel the consequences of their complete ignorance when they read a rude comment about placeholders and then choose to make a dumb comment of their own. If they don't know about placeholders yet they sure do now. Ignorance doesn't always deserve niceness, especially after reading this specific placeholder.
I'm sorry if you felt like my comment was passive aggressive, i wasn't trying to be aggressive at all, i just wanted the user to know that placeholders are necessary for bots not to upload poor translations. And i was not trying to be rude at all although some in the earlier comments delivered their comment in the wrong way, but do read the comment above that was assumed to be complaining, i understand that they might not have any knowledge but that would not be the case since in the first the placeholder chapter has an image on someone complaing with placeholders again it was important so that bots won't upload not so good translations. And i do appreciate you defending this user but please you should understand why some people in the comments were educating this user about this matter.

Unlike the comment in the placeholder itself, who was expressing their frustration by bashing on the uploader, this person was venting frustration by asking a question. I do not think those 2 comments deserve equal treatment.

What if this is the 1st or 2nd story this person has had to deal with placeholders?
I know I saw my first one on Ni Jiu, back when placeholders started popping up alot, but everyone finds them at a different time it is really dependant on the uploader and what story you read.
I also think this user simply didnt see the placeholder message at the time. I know I scroll through placeholders most of the time and "Fuck You" is focused at the bottom so it would be pretty hard to miss, hence why it was pointed out.
Ah I see, I dont think I've experienced a dropped series due to uploaders getting hate, so that's new to me.
And still, it was a very cringe message altogether. So what if you have to double check if it was an upload or not? This is a free website where people upload on their free time. Its not like someone is being paid. Just take what you are being given.
