Yes, it consists of short stories. The original series includes 10 chapters, followed by Badlands (100 issues), Wish You Were Here (60 chapters), and spin-offs like Family Values (7 chapters) and Crossed +100. The series concluded with Mimic in 2018.

After reading chapter 11 i was left speechless, cus probably i saw potential of the story on the first chapters but then soon after it's just wasn't my cup of tea... the author provides different POV's of the characters during the tragic event and how they manage to survive till the end, different from any stories I've read so far and this is probably closer to real life stories if ever similar apocalypse would happen. It's just sad that they didn't focus on one character to milk on until the end.
