In the novel Angel's cravat is blue to match Remi's eye color. He also has cufflinks and accessories that are gold to match Remi's hair!!
The fact Angel made the dress Remi is wearing with his colors, the dress is black like his hair, the accessories and gem stone are gold like his eye's.
