Coz the duke truly don't love that woman. He just needs her coz of the blonde kid prince which will be appearing in the later chapters. The king knows bout the kid.But,that duke is irredeemable as he should have confronted and explained everything to his wife .yet he took her for granted. So,he deserved it
Why aren’t they on the same page? Mistress keeps calling it love, Duke says it’s nothing. One of them is either lying or massively misunderstanding the situation. And I’m inclined to believe it’s the mistress since she has powers the Duke needs her for. I’m sure we’ll find out later but it’s a pretty stupid plot. How does that kind of misunderstanding even happen for 3 years and the Duke doesn’t catch on. Stupid plot, stupid man.
Also, the story is kind of hard to follow along (probably because of the translation, but still). Like when did she reincarnate because she already knows the og’s parents. She seems to know the world well enough despite only reading half the novel. So she obviously needed time for that and I wanna know when she did it.
