Are we there for Aqua's funeral or for Kana's meltdown? Because as far as I am aware, we were there to wish the dead well not to chastise them.

The chapter's intent was to show the reaction of the characters to Aqua's death, so it partially is about Kana's meltdown
I am not talking about the intent of the chapter, but about "we".

Not just that, she did mention that it's a promise that if he die, she'll slap him, no? It's in the latest chapter. This is why people should not jump to conclusions......... However, slapping a dead person....wow, uncanny or sorta (dunno what word to use.)

I probably gonna get downvoted, but i dont mind that she slapped his corpse, i mean if aqua saw he would probably smile and say"yezh i guess i deserved that".
Yeah that was not the most appropriate thing to do but she is a 16 yo girl losing the guy she has been crushing on since she was like 5. She is obviously not going to react well and i decide to interpret it as a proof of how much the loss of him messed her up, to make her act like that.
