tbh i didnt get over my ex girlfriend for 2 years because we had a peaceful break up to focus exams during uni application year so u never know... (-.-) although i must admit this is too extreme like how do u still crush on him even after he did all that to you during graduation... crazy asf
Well from what I understood why he still likes that a$$h0le is because he was lonely and that bastard was the only one that was by his side and if I remembere correctly that a$$h0le didn't act like that when they were younger but like then and now that bastard manipulated and gashlighed him into thinking that what he has done is out of good for him. I still don't like the fact that he liked him for that long but he was glaslighed and "didn't" really have anyone so yeah it's a basic toxic friendship.
It can happen especially if someone is already waist-deep in love while the other is leaving crumbs just enough to feed the delusion or wishful thinking of the person in love. Until all of it becomes a routine, part of their usual dynamic that it (unfortunately) drags on for several years.
