My point still stands. Past toxic relationships might explain his way of thinking but does not excuse it. His people tried to convince him to tell taeyoon the truth. There were multiple instances where he couldve changed his stubborn way of thinking when he saw that the secrets were starting to hurt his partner. It's not that he didnt know what to do or how to act, he chose to act that way and let it drag on for so long.
I'm still pissed that he kept the whole thing a secret from him with the excuse being, "I just didnt want u to get hurt". It just basically means he never trusted Taeyoon enough as a partner to make the right decision for their family. Taeyoon had every right to know about that problem because it directly involved him as the father of their child, a partner, and the son of that evil bastard. The uke took his freedom of choice from him as if he was saying, "oh I dont want him to get hurt cuz he's weak he wont be able to handle it. It's too much for him, he's pitiful he cant make such hard decisions. He can't handle it. I won't tell him" . What? I'm pretty sure that guy is more mentally stable than you?
It couldve been a great opportunity for Taeyoon to heal and grow from his past family trauma, to give him the power to choose how to heal while he (the uke) stands beside him as his partner and gives him the support he needs to heal from his past and step up to the role as protector for their family. Instead the uke kept it a secret and took that opportunity away cuz he couldn't trust his alpha enough to make the right choice for himself Because it would "hurt him"??? As If the alpha was a child? Sometimes people need to face the past to be stronger. I'm glad the alpha found out about what was going on. But personally if my partner did that to me I would see it as betrayal cuz of the lack of trust.
