I like that too but this one skips a lot of important things and lightens the heavy stuff (her scars and abuse from the kidnapping). I just think it takes a lot away from the story in this case
Yeah.. the whole kidnapping arc felt rushed. In the novel she was so pitiful I couldn’t stop crying
heavy on this bc even the scene from the courtroom to the cell was hella painful in the novel. this though... it just simplifies a whole lot of things and dumbs it down that it makes it seem like what the FL went through wasn't as serious
Unpopular opinion: I kind of like it when an adaptation makes a small change to a book I've read…it keeps things fun and interesting idk
