I read this years and years ago, but I remember this manga story where the guy was an introverted loner who like mimature sail ships. So his sister got worried and 'brought' or 'hired' a human-like doll companion to get him used to people again.
It wasn't "Hybrid Child" by Nakamura Shungikuany but I guess it was similar? But I remember the main guy had a fansincation of miniature sail boats (or sail boats in a bottle) due to his old love/crush I think and the human-like doll was somehow connected to the main character (like a junior at school or something) and he didn't recognize him because the main guy barely left the house in years.
