It wasn’t too good to be frank

Felt very brand, almost like eating unsweetened yogurt or cereal. There’s plot there, clearly, but there was nothing driving it. So many plot holes, so many missing story lines, and the romance felt flat on its fking face.

Some person gripes: I hate when they place romantic interest like this too - this guy clearly willing to lay his life down for her cuz he had nothing prior.
Just like how she hated the other trope, I hate this trope - the servant-turned-romantic interest trope.
Either way it wasn’t well done, if ur gonna write something like that at least make it fun to read.

Another thing is that I hated her insistence, constant and all the time about how she NEEDS to see the story straight even though it’s clearly derailed. Maybe it’s her holding onto her sister IRL BUT HOW TF WOULD WE KNOW WHEN THEY DINT EXPAND ON IT? You only see her in mention??? And she doesn’t bring it up again.

Either way; point is it was disappointing.
